Fast Fashion Defined:

The term “fast fashion” refers to the speed at which clothes are produced, consumed, and disposed. On average, each American throws out 82 pounds of textiles each year.

Why Fast Fashion is such a pressing issue:

Approximately 75 million people work to make our clothes. 80% of them are women between the ages of 18 and 35 and only 2% of them receive a living wage.

Fast fashion is having devastating effects on humans and on the planet.
