Elaine McKellips-240.jpg

Kate began her career in digital advertising and spent four years developing strategic online marketing initiatives for national organizations.  During a 4-month long backpacking trip throughout Southeast Asia, her eyes were opened to the reality of extreme global poverty and modern day slavery, and she was inspired to start Collective Humanity.  Kate is an avid human rights advocate with an unbelievable love for Cambodia and the Khmer people.  She has a dream of one day building an artisan studio in downtown Phnom Penh, where local women can learn valuable skills, receive access to an education, and earn a dignified living in a safe and loving environment.  She also loves to meet for coffee, so don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like to get to know her more!
